NOTES:

Roses are Red Poem:

Ask Ss to choose a word from the ‘Words List’ and write it into blank number 2. Ss then think of an object that matches the descriptions and writes it into blank number 1. An example I usually give:

Roses are red

Violets are blue

(1)Fire is (2)hot

And so are you.’

10 Reasons Why I Love You:

Ask your JTE to read out the translations as passionately as possible. Students absolutely love this part and it’s really funny watching how red the JTE’s face turns.

Valentine’s Cards:

I asked the Ss to include 4 things into their cards.

1)Dear: ~

2)Roses are Red Poem

3)Reason

4)Love; Sincerely; Yours Truly, ~
