Parts of the Face
Danny Villeneuve
| GRADE LEVEL: | ES 1-6 |
| SKILLS: | Listening |
| TIME: | 45 minutes |
| MATERIALS: | Paper, blindfolds, writing instruments |
OBJECTIVES:
- To practice the parts of the face
PROCEDURE:
1. After greetings, draw face shape on the board. Name it ‘face’ and have students repeat twice. Add nose, mouth, eyes, ears, etc, getting as specific as teeth, lips, etc for higher levels. Have students repeat each twice, than review.
2. Put students into pairs, and have them janken to decide who goes first. The drawer is blindfolded, and must draw the parts of the face as they are called out. The partner helps them to guide where to draw but the drawer cannot look.
3. After they finish, have them turn it over, switch drawer and repeat. Students usually have their handkerchiefs/lunch serving hat to use as a blindfold, so you may not need to take them.
